I'm a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Certified Gaps Practitioner. My journey into healthcare began in 2009 when I graduated from Loma Linda University with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and started my thriving practice. For 10 years I had the opportunity to help hundreds of clients who suffered from digestive ailments, emotional illness, autoimmune disease and degenerative conditions. My appetite for more knowledge was so strong I decided to further my education and focus on a more holistic, alternative approach to nutrition. Supporting families through education and essential oils has remained my passion for the last decade.

Why I do what I do?

Friends, we have a health crisis on our hands.  Diabetes, cancer, and heart disease are at an all time high. Our children are being diagnosed with maladies that were at one time, adult only diseases. Owning a thriving practice for 10 years I saw the need for proper education. I believe that health and life of thriving wellness is amongst our most valuable possessions and greatest investments in oneself. It's my mission to educate my clients to support the body's innate intelligence of regenerative health rather than pharmaceutically quieting symptoms without addressing the root cause.  Our bodies innate immune system is always trying to communicate with us, and as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I can use these tools to interpret how to best help YOUR body.

A few more things about me....

For the past seven years I have been married to my best friend Charles Penick MD. He is a Family Medicine Doctor who practices integrative medicine in Beverly Hills, CA and Bend, Oregon. Together, we have two beautiful children Westley and Avery whom we adore spending every moment with. When we are not snowboarding, we are traveling, camping, hiking, visiting theme parks and spending time with our family and friends.

My husband and I have been blessed with the opportunity to join forces and pursue our calling in  practicing healing-oriented medicine that treats the root cause of people's health ailments.  We enjoy providing our community with ongoing free monthly education on different health topics.
